Theme Anne Frank

I think the theme of this play is how Anne's character changes after being in the holocaust and having a really strange environment. First of all she isn't used to not going to the bathroom from the morning to mid-day, and she has to be very quiet and can't be too loud as usual. Because of these limitations, Anne goes through an internal conflict. She accidentally spills milk on Mrs. Van Daan's fur coat, and her parents discipline her but at that time Anne gets angry by saying why MArgot is always right and she is always wrong. She develops jealousy of her sister and has a strong conflict with her mother.
